๐Ÿฅƒ๐ŸŽฎ 7 Great Video Games to Play while Drinking

There are few things better than kicking back with some friends, either IRL or in voice chat, and having a few beverages while enjoying one of your favorite games. While there is an almost unlimited number of games you could choose, the best games for "getting after it" have a few things in common. Elements of a Good Game for Schwifty Enjoyment Low Complexity - Games that are highly complex usually just don't turn out quite as well after six beers. Low Cost of Quality - Games that punish you heavily for mistakes or from which there is a large impact on progression for misplays are also less ideal. Who can relax when any misplays set you back weeks? Low Social Cost - Games where your sobriety (or lack thereof) and potential gameplay impairment negatively impact the gameplay experience of others are also not ideal.  *Always drink responsibly.   7 Great Video Games to Play While Drinking Each of the following games does a reasonably good job of balancing our desired charac...

๐ŸŽฎCall of Duty Zombies: The Drinking Game - Rules

Since its introduction in Call of Duty: World at War , Call of Duty Zombies has been a PvE staple for gamers everywhere and has appeared in many subsequent titles. In this post, we'll explore rules for turning a game of round-based zombies into a lovely drinking session. As with all drinking games, set limits before you begin and be sure to conduct yourself both legally and responsibly.  Preparation To play the game, you'll need the following in addition to an internet connection, gaming device, and Call of Duty: A Party Sipper of your Choice - I recommend something relatively low ABV. We balanced the rules for a player of moderate ability and a sipper of 4-8% alcohol. Light beer is my go-to here since it has enough lovely hydrating waters to help stave off some small sadness.  A Couple of Shots - I would pre-pour a couple of shots to have on hand. Again, lower end of ABV which for shots likely means 80 proof. Kirkland Canadian Whiskey, Tito's Vodka, or Lunazul Tequila wo...

๐ŸŽฎ Helldivers: The Drinking Game - Lubricated Liberty

The second installment in our drinking game series , graphic below. What could be more fun than tossing back a few cold ones with your closest buds while rampaging through one of your favorite video games? Who says Liber-TEA is non-alcoholic? The best part: you'll already be at home when you're done so there's no need to worry about a designated driver! Obligatory plug to know your limits, be legal, and drink responsibly, we don't respawn IRL (yes I know that's a cringe statement - that's the joke).  Helldivers Drinking Game Prep To play the game, you'll need the following in addition to an internet connection, gaming device, and the Helldivers 2 game: A Party Sipper of your Choice  - I recommend something relatively low ABV. We balanced the rules for a player of moderate ability and a sipper of 4-8% alcohol. Light beer is my go-to here since it has enough lovely hydrating water to soak up any shots. Pick one that comes in a can in case you have to shotgun! ...

๐ŸŽฎ Modern Warfare III: Zombies Kill Race Tournament Rules

Background  A while back I put together some rules for a PvE style kill race in the open world mode of Call of Duty Modern Warfare III's zombies. The idea is to allow players in a large community with drastically different skill levels to compete asynchronously. Gun skill is a factor, but so is strategy and familiarity with the mode. It was a fun exercise and I hope more people have the chance to give it a try. Intro Modern Warfare III Zombies is a vertical extraction format PvE multi squad experience, placing a team of up to three operators in the war torn and undead infested country of Urzikstan. Stomp as many undead as possible within the time limit to score points for your team. Boot up your stream, throw on some music, and get twisted farming hordes of undead bots in the most vibey competitive experience possible.  Standard Rules The following rules are in place for all variants. Equipment PC, PS5, XBOX Series S or X are permitted - Cross Play Matches are possible Input D...

๐ŸŽฎ Call of Duty Warzone - The Drinking Game

Fairly self explanatory per the graphic below. What could be more fun than tossing back a few cold ones with your closest buds while rampaging through one of your favorite video games? Call of Duty Warzone might not have as much nostalgia as it did in the Verdansk days, but it still has some charm. The best part: you'll already be at home when you're done so there's no need to worry about a designated driver! Obligatory plug to know your limits, be legal, and drink responsibly, we don't respawn IRL (yes I know that's a cringe statement - that's the joke).  Call of Duty Warzone Drinking Game Prep To play the game, you'll need the following in addition to an internet connection, gaming device, and Call of Duty: A Party Sipper of your Choice - I recommend something relatively low ABV.
